Pulling a team out of Oakland after more than half a century feels like deindustrializing a town all over again, but with hot dogs instead of steel. If those $380 million in public funds create decent jobs, fair wages and a real neighborhood around that Vegas ballpark, the bargain might be justified, yet right now the ledger looks painfully incomplete for both cities.
